Power currently offers 4 main products:

  • Borrow – qualify for affordable, slighter longer term loans where no forms are required and with no hidden fees
  • Protect – Improve your capacity to cope with risk through access to affordable insurance coverage at no upfront cost. Get traditional medical, telemedicine and auto insurance immediately with our premium financing options

 

Although the Power App is currently available on Google Play and coming soon to Apple Store, the core functions of our Products are currently only available to employees of companies that have agreed to partner with us. This is because we use a check-off system for repayment. So if your company is not one of our valuable partners, we strongly recommend that you reach out to your HR or Finance Manager and tell them to schedule a demo with us or give call us at 0711 082 222 to learn more about Power Financial Wellness today!

Follow these simple steps to verify your account:

  • Log in to the Power App.
  • Click on the menu
  • Scroll down to my profile and click on it. 
  • Under My profile click on Verify.
  • Follow the guidelines on the below page and click on verify.
  • The app will prompt you to take a selfie/ Make sure your face is fits exactly within the oval (remember to smile).
  • After the selfie, the app will prompt your back camera. Take a picture of the front of your Original ID. Click Yes if you can see the details of the ID.
  • After submission, the app will take approximately 60-90 seconds to verify your details.

How to Register/ Sign up

  • Download the Power Financial Wellness Wellness App here and click on sign up.
  • Enter your mobile phone number and your email address and click on next.
  • You will receive a 4-digit one-time-pin (OTP) code on the phone number you provided. Enter that code and proceed.
  • Enter your National ID number and create a unique password that you will use to log in every time.

Fill in the rest of your details correctly and click on complete registration.

How to verify my account

  • Log in to the Power App.
  • Click on the menu
  • Scroll down to my profile and click on it. 
  • Under My profile click on Verify.

How to set my password

  • Download the App and click on sign up
  • Enter your Phone Number and email address and click on next 
  • Enter a one-time 4-digit passcode which you will receive on the phone and click on the arrow
  • Fill in your details correctly, Under the password tab enter a password that contains a capital letter, a small letter, a number, and a special character example (Password@123). 
  • Repeat the same password under the confirm password tab and click on complete registration

How to Link Company

  • Log in to the Power app. 
  • Go to My profile- Click on the link to your company.
  • You will see the name of your company- i.e Your Company.
  • Confirm your number by selecting your mobile number and agreeing to T&Cs. 
  • You will then receive an OTP (One-time passcode). 
  • Enter that OTP and you will be all good to go

USSD Code Number
The Power USSD Code is *789*789#

Using the USSD code you will be able to access the following PAY (Salary advance) services;

  • 1. Cashout – withdrawing your salary advance to Mpesa
  • 2. Send Money 
  • 3. Buy Airtime 
  • 4. Buy Goods
  • 5. Pocket Power

How to repay using M-PESA

  • Go to MPESA
  • Click on Lipa na Mpesa
  • Go to PAYBILL
  • Go to Business Number
  • Enter the Business Number as 982612
  • Go to Account Number
  • Enter the Account Number as YOUR FULL NAME
  • Enter the Amount you desire to pay
  • Enter your Mpesa PIN

Notification from the company will read FRICTIONLESS ENTERPRISES LTD

Update your account details: Name, Email address, Phone number, or Marital Status:

  • Select My Profile from the menu bar.
  • Click the Edit Profile icon on the field you’d like to change.  
  • Click on the pencil icon or Space bar against the field you would like to change
  • Click update after completing all the fields.
  • Your profile will be updated automatically.
  • *In case you cannot remember your pin, click on the Forgot PIN button and follow the instructions.

How to reset a forgotten password

  • Enter your Phone Number on the Login page.
  • Click on Forgot Password
  • You’ll be prompted to Enter your Phone Number
  • Enter the One Time Passcode that will be sent to your phone.
  • Prompt on the new page to Set New Password
  • Enter your New Password, then Confirm Password
  • The password is reset. You can log in to the Account successfully.

Changing your password

  • Go to Power App, Enter your phone number and password, and click on log in
  •  Go to the home page and click on the menu bar 
  • Scroll and click on my profile
  • Scroll and click on the settings 
  • Click on Change Password
  • Enter the current password, and new password, repeat the new password, and click on the next
  • Enter the OTP code sent to your Phone and click on the arrow.

How to change the Power PIN

  • Log in to the Power App
  • Go to the home page
  • Click on the menu and select my profile
  • Click on settings
  • Click on change pin and update.

How to cash out

  • Log into the App.
  • Click on the PAY screen. You will be able to see your maximum affordability
  • Click on the cash out option
  • Indicate the amount you would wish to cash out
  • Select or enter the phone number you wish to cash out to
  • Click on next
  • On the pop-up notification that will come up, click on the check box then click proceed
  • Enter your 4-digit transactional PIN and click on the arrow

How to cash out from your Power pocket

  • Log into the App.
  • Click on the pay screen.
  • You will be able to see your maximum affordability
  • Click on the name of your company in the semi-circle. You will see a drop-down, then click on Power Pocket.
  • Click on cash out

How to buy Airtime

  • Click on Pay
  • Under Pay, services select buy airtime
  • Enter the amount you would wish to use to purchase airtime
  • Select the service provider
  • Select the phone number you would want to buy airtime for
  • Click on Next
  • You will get a pop-up Notification with a summary of the transaction
  • Click on the check box then click Proceed 
  • Enter the transaction PIN and click on the arrow

How to repay Borrow

  • Click on the borrow feature.
  • Select the loan you want to repay and click on repay the loan
  • Select if you want to repay via Mpesa or Power Pocket as you key in the amount you want to repay Indicate the amount you would wish to cash out
  • Under cash out, select the phone number/ enter the phone number 
  • Click on Next
  • On the pop-up notification click on the check box then click proceed.
  • Enter a 4-digit transactional PIN and click on the arrow.

Eligibility For another Loan

Affordability is calculated automatically depending on the agreement we have with your company.

  • For PAY, You can transact as many times as long as you still have affordability.
  • For BORROW, it is based on on your affordability as well as the approved limit of loans that has been agreed upon with your employer, not exceeding 5 active loans at any one time

No, employee onboarding on Power is FREE! You only get charged for the services you access on Power.

Absolutely not! All costs and fees will be displayed before you access any services on Power.

Power connects you to various fund managers. The returns on savings can range between 7% and 9%.
